Chicago Art for Black Futures

Chicago Art for Black Futures is a fundraising platform devised in June of 2020 to (a) raises funds for black lead organizations through the sale of prints, drawings, and lightweight flatworks or media and (b) promote artworks that uniquely challenge systems of oppression, offer a visuality which poses a reorientation of our current state, or shares language of care and healing.

The platform is evergreen, and built out as a collective tool for all of us to use in the years to come as a fundraising commons. We see the website/project as one that other organizing spaces around Chicago can host mission-aligned fundraisers, creating a more sustainable model of support within our network. If you are interested in administering a fundraiser or learning more, please let us know.
