WHERE TO DONATE MONEY (OUTSIDE OF CHICAGO)

List of Bail Funds by City/ State

Black Visions Collective
We aim to center our work in healing and transformative justice principles, intentionally develop our organizations core “DNA” to ensure sustainability, and develop Minnesota’s emerging Black leadership to lead powerful campaigns.

BYP100
A National, member-based organization of Black 18-35 year old activists and organizers, dedicated to creating justice and freedom for all Black people. We do this through building a network focused on transformative leadership development, direct action organizing, advocacy, and political education using a Black queer feminist lens.

Legal Rights Center
The Legal Rights Center is a community-driven nonprofit law firm, specializing in adult criminal and juvenile delinquency defense, restorative justice practices and youth advocacy.

Minnesota Freedom Fund
There is nothing “normal” about cash bail - the United States and the Philippines are the only two countries in the world where someone has to put up cash to avoid being imprisoned before their trial. We stand against cash bail as unjust and identify wealth-based discrimination as a vehicle for the criminal justice system to target populations for structural violence.

National Bail Fund Network
National Bail Fund Network is made up of over sixty community bail and bond funds across the country. We regularly update this listing of community bail funds that are freeing people by paying bail/bond and are also fighting to abolish the money bail system and pretrial detention.

National Bail Out - Black Mamas Bailout
We work to end systems of mass incarceration and support our communities. We work with groups all over the country on Mother’s Day to bail out as many Black Mamas and caregivers as we can, provide supportive services and fellowship opportunities for those we bail out and organize to end money bail and pretrial detention and support our communities.

Reclaim the Block
By donating, you will support Reclaim the Block's work to make sure that our communities have the resources they need to thrive. Our grassroots group is up against the deep pockets of the Minneapolis police union, and we need your support.
